  • Focus on Overlapping Content from 2007 Standards and PCS (Hot Topics)
  • Why? The 2013-2014 PSSA will only assess eligible content that overlaps from the 2007 standards and the PCS.
  • Collect, Analyze and Interpret CPM Assessment Data
  • Why?
    • Identify and Analyze overlapping content
    • Use PA crosswalks to create Hot Topics lists
    • Ensure that all students learn the content items that are part of the Hot Topics lists (Lessons, Assessments, Interventions)
    • Hot Topic content identified in teacher lesson plans
    • PDE Crosswalks
    • Hot Topics

  • Collect, Analyze and Interpret CPM Assessment Data
  • Why? To help determine what previous content students have not yet mastered. (CPM Assessments contain both previous and current content.)
